It has been a while. Life got busy, the blog went quiet and honestly - the old site was starting to feel like a pair of boots that had done one too many kilometres on the trail.
So we fixed it.
In Your Space has had a full rebuild. New look, faster, cleaner and built properly from the ground up. The kind of refresh that makes you want to actually write again.
But the new look is only half the story.
THE FORECAST AWAKENS
With the FIFA World Cup 2026 just days away, we have built something special - The Forecast Awakens. A full match predictor where you pick scores, rack up points and battle it out on a live leaderboard all the
way to the Final in New Jersey on 19 July.
Here is how it works:
Predict every match from the Group Stage right through to the Final. Correct result gets you 2 points. Nail the exact score and you get 5. Before the first ball is kicked on 11 June, you also get to make your
bonus picks - Quarter Finalists, Semi Finalists, Finalists and your Winner. Those picks lock permanently at kickoff so do not sleep on it.
Points update automatically as results come in. The leaderboard is live. The banter is encouraged.
Registration is free and open to everyone.
WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE BLOG
The World Cup gets the main stage for the next six weeks - previews, match reports, talking points and the kind of opinions that will probably get me into trouble. Cricket and rugby do not disappear either. The Proteas have a busy schedule and the Boks are never far from the conversation.
There will also be the occasional lifestyle piece. Camping. Braais. Life outside the sporting calendar. Because that is what In Your Space has always been about.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED
Head to the Predictor, register for free and get your bonus picks in before 11 June at 21:00 SAST. That deadline is non-negotiable - the system locks automatically at kickoff.
Tell your mates. The more people on the leaderboard, the better the competition.
And if you want to make sure you never miss a post, hit the subscribe button. No spam. Just good content when it drops.
Good to be back. Let us make it count.
